National Space Centre

About

The National Space Centre has recently been voted as the UK’s Large Visitor Attraction of the year and makes for one of the most immersive day out experiences throughout Leicester. Here you’ll find six different zones which boasts over 150 interactive displays, you can then move onwards and upwards through the centre, taking a glass lift past three floors over forty two meters. This lift will then drop you off at the Rocket Tower where you can learn about the space race and explore the planetarium and space theatre.

One standout feature at the centre is the Human Spaceflight: Lunar Base 2025. Here you and your children can put your mental and physical ability to become one of the world’s few future astronauts. You can then finish off your Space adventure by experiencing the 3D simulator which will take you on a mission through space!
